The presentation overviewed the Barnett Shale, depicting vertical, horizontal and directional drilling cross sections and an index map showing the current Barnett Shale gas region. Four slides were shown detailing the production history on a monthly basis for the Brumbaugh #2 well in Tarrant County, the Corral City #1 well in Denton County, the McAllister #16 well in Wise County, and the Mount Olivet #2 well in Tarrant County. Mr. LeDesma went on to show the proposed pad site for well IOH which is located in close proximity to the Wastewater Treatment Plant. In addition, the applicant stated the estimated reserve damages for this well would range in losses of 1 1-20 million. There were no requests to speak from the public. B. FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT TO ALLOW GAS WELL DRILLING ON A 1.5 ACRE TRACT OF LAND REFERRED TO AS "PAD 7H", LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 800 FEET SOUTH OF MARSHALL CREEK ROAD, AND APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET WEST OF THE TOWN'S EAST TOWN LIMIT LINE. Mr. Durbin addressed the Commission. This pad site is more than 1,000' from developed property and therefore does not require a waiver. There were no requests to speak from the public.
