Call To Order and announce a quorum.
Chairman Hill called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
COMMISSION MEMBERS:
Present: 7- Vice Chair James Stephens, Commissioner Mike Davidson,
Commissioner Dennis Sheridan, Commissioner Dale Forest, Chairman
Gene Hill, Commissioner Clayton Reed, and Commissioner Gary Richert

PUBLIC HEARING
1. 2011-213-T Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance amending Article 3 "Establishment of
Districts" and Article 5 "Sale of Alcoholic Beverages' of Chapter 13 "Zoning" of the
Code or Ordinances to provide regulations for the sale of alcohol for off -premises
consumption in the Town of Trophy Club; providing a penally not to exceed Two
Thousand Dollars for each violation; and providing an effective date.
Referred to the Town Council due back on 512/2011
REGULAR SESSION
2. 2011-214-T Consider and take appropriate action regarding an Ordinance amending Article 3
"Establishment of Districts" and Article 5 "Sale of Alcoholic Beverages' of Chapter 13
'Zoning' of the Code or Ordinances to provide regulations for the sale of alcohol for
off -premises consumption in the Town of Trophy Club; providing a penally not to
exceed Two Thousand Dollars for each violation; and providing an effective dale.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Stephens, seconded by Commissioner
Davidson, that this Agenda Item be Recommended for Approval to the Town
Council, on 5/2/2011 with the following stipulations:

Adjourn
Prohibit window signage and painted windows for liquor stores
Place a maximum square footage restriction on liquor stores
Disallow a liquor store in Village Center of Planned Development No. 27
Limit the location of liquor stores to Highway 114 access
Delete reference to Gourmet Food
• Allow a liquor store in "CG" Commercial General zoning district
• Require a specific use permit for a liquor store with Council discretion to
approve or deny based on development conditions.
The motion carried by the following vote.
Aye: 6- Vice Chair Stephens, Commissioner Davidson, Commissioner Forest,
Chairman Hill, Commissioner Reed, and Commissioner Richert
Excused: 1- Commissioner Sheridan
