Trophy Club’s portion of the property tax bill in dollars for the current fiscal year (FY2025) is $2,967.79, the Town’s portion of the property tax
bill for the upcoming fiscal year (FY2026) for the same property if the proposed budget is adopted is estimated to be $2,949.19.

AGENDA ITEM: Summer Camp and Aquatics Update (Madison Seil, Recreation

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Summer Adventure Camp officially began on May 26 and continues to be one of the Town’s
most popular youth programs. Registration reached capacity within the first day of opening,
with all 60 weekly camp spots filled for each of the 10 weeks of camp, serving a total of 600
campers throughout the summer.
In addition to daily crafts, games, and outdoor recreation activities, campers enjoy visits to the
Community Pool on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursdays are
dedicated to field trips, with destinations including the Fort Worth Zoo, Epic Waters Indoor
Waterpark, and tours of AT&T Stadium. These activities give campers the opportunity to stay
active, make new friends, and experience a variety of fun outings throughout the summer.
Aquatics Update
The Trophy Club Community Pool and Splash Pad is officially open for the season. Residents
and their guests can enjoy the facility daily through August 9, after which operations will
transition to weekends only beginning August 10 as students return to school.
Several aquatics programs are now underway, including Saturday morning Water Aerobics,
weekday morning Swim Lessons, and the Trophy Club Tritons Swim Team, which has 173
swimmers participating this season. The Tritons competed in their first circuit meet on June 6
and are preparing to host a home meet at the Community Pool on June 27. Please note that
the pool will have a delayed opening on that date to accommodate the event.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Town's Independence Day festivities will begin with the Patriot 5K and Fun Run at 7:15
a.m. at the Trophy Club Community Pool (New Location!). This year's race features a slight
modification to the course, and participants are encouraged to review the updated route on
the Town website prior to race day. New for 2026, all runners will receive a commemorative
finisher medal in addition to age-group and overall category awards. Registration remains
open, with entry fees increasing after June 25.
Following the race, the Parade of Patriots will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Registration is
currently open and will close on July 1, with registration required for all parade participants.
Community members are encouraged to decorate golf carts, vehicles, and floats and join in one
of Trophy Club's most popular holiday traditions. Residents planning to participate in or watch
the parade can find route information and event details at www.trophyclub.org/fourth.
The day's festivities will conclude with the Fourth of July Celebration, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The event will feature live music, inflatables, face painting, balloon artists, food vendors, and a
new Ninja Obstacle Course. The evening will culminate with a fireworks show beginning at
approximately 9:40 p.m., providing a spectacular finale to the Town's Independence Day

1. Update on the Tree Inventory & Management Plan.
Director Ellis provided the board with details on greehill and Davey Resource Group’s
progress in their 3D scan of all Town-owned trees and the development of a Tree
Management Plan. Davey will be conducting an on-site inspection of all trees in the
coming weeks and will input all collected data into TreeKeeper, an online tree-
management platform.

Board member Packan motioned to approve the March 16, 2026, and April 20, 2026,
Parks & Recreation Board regular meeting minutes. Board member Tombari seconded
the motion. No discussion was held. Chairperson Kashner called for a vote. The motion
passed unanimously.

3. Trophy Club Roanoke Youth Baseball Association
Director Ellis commented on changes made to the new proposed Facility Use Agreement
with TCRYBA from the previous agreement. Director Ellis presented the Cost Recovery
Analysis for the fees collected from TCRYBA, noting that the 13% cost recovery falls short
of the 90-100% recovery goal. Discussion was held regarding the fee structure for Trophy
Club residents versus non-residents, field access, and third-party rental opportunities.
Board member Schrein motioned to recommend the Facility Use Agreement with the
Trophy Club Roanoke Youth Baseball Association to the Town Manager as presented by
Staff. Board member Ferguson seconded the motion. No discussion was held.
Chairperson Kashner called for a vote. The motion passed.

4. Greater Northwest Soccer Association

with GNWSA from the previous agreement. Director Ellis noted that GNWSA opted for an
annual flat rate as opposed to a per-registrant rate. Discussion was held regarding field
access, payment methods, and third-party rentals.
Board member Packan motioned to consider a recommendation regarding the Facility
Use Agreement with the Greater Northwest Soccer Association to the Town Manager as
presented by Staff. Chairperson Kashner seconded the motion. No discussion was held.
Chairperson Kashner called for a vote. The motion passed.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On June 8, 2026, the Trophy Club Town Council approved a purchase/sale agreement for the former
Premier Academy facility at 945 Trophy Club Drive. The Town is currently under contract to purchase
the building and is conducting due diligence for the space that will serve as a future Parks &
Recreation programming and activity center.
This opportunity represents more than a building purchase — it is a strategic investment in expanded
recreation opportunities, community programming, and long-term quality of life for Trophy Club
residents.
The Town has an opportunity to expand indoor recreation space, youth programming, wellness
activities, camps, enrichment opportunities, and community gathering areas to better serve residents
of all ages. The former Premier Academy facility offers a unique opportunity to expand recreation
capacity by leveraging an existing facility designed to support group activities, classrooms, and indoor
recreation. The facility includes:
o An indoor gymnasium
o Two classrooms and an activity space
o Restrooms and support facilities
o Existing furnishings and equipment are included in the acquisition
o An ideal central location within Trophy Club
o Approximately 8,650 square feet of usable space
Unlike building a new facility from the ground up, this opportunity allows the Town to expand
programming and services more quickly while maximizing an existing community asset. The
proposed facility will create additional indoor recreation space to support a wide variety of Parks &
Recreation programming for the community.
