CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM
Chairperson Bowman called the December 5, 2024, Building Standards Commission meeting to order at
8:08 PM and announced a quorum.

There was none.
REGULAR ITEMS
1. Board Training and Building Standards Commission Roles and Responsibilities.
Matt Cox, Director of Community Development, provided an overview of the Building Standards
Commission which included Creation, Composition, Meetings and Procedures, Addressing Substandard
Structures, Rules and Notifications, and Enforcement and Penalties.
2. Consider the election of a vice -chair.
Commissioner Ross nominated Reid Burley. Commissioner Boedeker seconded the nomination.

ADJOURN
Chairperson Bowman adjourned the meeting at 8:15 p.m.
