MINUTES OF TREE BOARD MEETING FOR THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB
LOCATION: 100 MUNICIPAL DRIVE, TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS
Tuesday, April 13, 2010 6:30 P.M.

The Tree Board of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, met in a Regular Session on
Tuesday April 13, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the
Town and was open to the public.

A.1 Discuss and take appropriate action regarding Arbor Day activities.
Chairwoman Pugh called the Tree Board to order, noting a quorum at 6:33 pm.
Chairwoman Pugh stated that the minutes for Februarys meeting were not done
due to Staff member Jaramillo being too busy with the preparation of the Arbor
Day event. Chairwoman Pugh went through a power point presentation that Staff
member Lee put together for the Arbor Day event. Board member Boclair made a
motion to plant a Pecan tree for the ceremonial tree planting at the Arbor Day
event. Seconded be Board member Lacher. Motion carried unanimously.
A.2 Discuss and take appropriate action regarding Future Projects and Priorities.
Chairwoman Pugh explained to the Board that the Board needs to focus on the
future projects such as the trail at Trophy Club Park, Fourth of July celebration,
the Memorial Park at TCP, 25th Anniversary events and Fall Festival. Board
member Nickels stated that she would like to have a leaf collection or leaf
identification projects at Trophy Club Park for kids in Trophy Club schools. Board
member Boclair stated that that the Tree Board could possibly give a live
Christmas tree away at the Tree lighting event.

A.3 Future Agenda Items Chairwoman Pugh stated that the next meeting the Tree
Board needs to plan on working on trails at Trophy Club Park for as a future
project. Chairwoman Pugh stated that the next Tree Board meeting will be at
Trophy Club Park at 6:30. Motion was made by Board member Kohs to adjourn
at 8:06 pm. Seconded by Board member Downey. Motion carried unanimously.
