RESOLUTION NO. 2014-31
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 2014-23 APPOINTING
CITIZENS TO SERVE ON THE ETHICS COMMISSION AND ADOPTING A
NEW RESOLUTION FILLING VACANCIES ON THE COMMISSION AND
REAFFIRMING EXISTING APPOINTMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on May 19, 2014, the Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2014-23
appointing citizens to serve on the Ethics Commission; and
WHEREAS, since appointments were made pursuant to Resolution No. 2014-23,
additional vacancies have occurred due to expiring terms of service, and volunteers have
applied to fill the three (3) existing vacant seats on the Ethics Commission ("Commission");
and
WHEREAS, the members of the Ethics Commission have interviewed applicants for
the Commission and have made recommendations to the Town Council for persons to
serve on the Commission; and
WHEREAS, having reviewed the recommendations of the Ethics Commission, the
Town Council hereby finds it appropriate to repeal Resolution No. 2014-23 making
appointments to serve on the Ethics Commission and to adopt this Resolution filling
vacancies on the Commission and reaffirming previous appointments to the Commission;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 9. The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas does hereby
repeal Resolution No. 2014-23, appointing persons to serve on the Ethics Commission,
and adopts this Resolution appointing persons to fill three (3) vacancies, one (1) regular
seat and two (2) alternate seats, to serve on the Commission and reaffirming all other
appointments.
Section 2. That the Town Council hereby appoints and/or reaffirms as
applicable, the following individuals to serve on the Ethics Commission with respective
terms of service ending on September 30 of the year specified below for each
individual:

1. Ronald Eddins (2015) Alt. Dr. Charles Onyeama (2017)
2. Tom Setser (2016) Alt. Carol Sue Tombari (2017)
3. Lorrie Branson (2017)

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of passage in
accordance with law.
PASSED and APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas
on this 9th day of September, 2014.
