RESOLUTION NO. 2015-39
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 2015-27 AND
ADOPTING A NEW RESOLUTION APPOINTING A CHAIRMAN AND
REAFFIRMING EXISTING APPOINTMENTS TO SERVE ON THE
ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT; DESIGNATING TERMS OF
SERVICE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, benefits by having its citizens
involved in local government through service on Boards and Commissions; and
WHEREAS, the Trophy Club Town Council is charged with the responsibility of
making appointments to the Boards, Commissions and Corporations serving the Town
whose terms are expiring and to replace members who have resigned; and
WHEREAS, on September 22, 2015, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy
Club adopted Resolution No. 2015-27, appointing citizens to serve on the Zoning Board
of Adjustment for the 2015-2016 fiscal year and reaffirming the appointments of other
previously appointed citizens; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council generally takes action in September of each year
to appoint residents to serve on various Town Board, Commission and Corporation
seats; and
WHEREAS, by passage of this Resolution, the Town Council hereby finds it
appropriate to repeal Resolution No. 2015-27 and to adopt this Resolution appointing a
Zoning Board of Adjustment Chairman and reaffirming current appointments to serve on
the Zoning Board of Adjustment for fiscal year 2015-2016.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the foregoing recitals are incorporated herein as if written word
for word.
Section 2. That the Town Council hereby repeals Resolution No. 2015-27
appointing persons to serve on the Zoning Board of Adjustment and adopts this
Resolution to appoint a chairman and reaffirm, as applicable, the following individuals to
serve on the Zoning Board of Adjustment with respective terms of service ending on
September 30 of the year specified below for each individual:

3. Terry Kesterson (2017)

Alt. Candice Vogt (2017) Alt. Darrell Windland (2016)
Louis Opipare Jr. shall serve as Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of passage
in accordance with law.
PASSED and APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club,
Texas on this 8th day of December, 2015.
