The Economic Development Corporation (EDC) 4B of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, met in a Joint Session on
Tuesday, March 27,2018.The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the public.

President Bone announced the date of Tuesday, March 27, 2018,called the EDC 4B Joint Session meeting to order
and announced a quorum at 7:03 p.m.
CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS
Citizens are allowed four(4)minutes to address the Corporation regarding an item over which the Corporation has
policy or oversight authority as provided by Texas law, the ethics order,or other policy order.
Jim Carter, 1005 Roadrunner Road, Bartonville, Texas, advised that he was running for Denton County
Commissioner Precinct 4 and announced that early voting would be from May 14th through May 18th for the
Primary Runoff with Election Day voting on May 22nd.
JOINT SESSION
1. Consider and take appropriate action regarding the appointment of the Vice President.
Motion:
Motion made by President Bone, seconded by Director Inge, to appoint Cory McDonald to serve as the Vice
President.
Motion carried 5-1-0, with President Bone, Secretary/Treasurer Richmond, and Directors Inge, Hall, and Flynn
voting for and Director McDonald abstaining.
2. Consider and take appropriate action regarding the EDC 4B minutes dated January 18,2018.
Motion:
Motion made by President Bone, seconded by Director Flynn, to approve the EDC 4B minutes dated January 18,
2018.
Motion carried 6-0-0.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
3. Pursuant to the following designated section of the Texas Government Code, Annotated, Chapter 551
(Texas Open Meetings Act),the Council will convene into executive session to discuss the following:
A) Section 551.087 Deliberation regarding Economic Development Negotiations under Subsection (1) to
discuss or deliberate regarding commercial or financial information that the governmental body has
received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate,stay,or expand in
or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body is conducting
economic development negotiations and Subsection (2)to deliberate the offer of a financial or other
incentive to a business prospect that the Town seeks to have locate within the territory of the Town:
