CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM
Chairman Senelly called the August 21, 2014, Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to
order at 7:00 p.m. and announced a quorum present (6 members).
1. Consider and take appropriate action regarding the July 21, 2014 Planning and Zoning
Commission meeting minutes.
Chairman Senelly asked for comments or discussion on the July 21, 2014, Planning and Zoning
Commission meeting minutes.
Chairman Senelly asked for a motion.
Motion made by Commissioner Oldham, seconded by Commissioner Vowell, to approve the
July 21, 2014 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting minutes as they stand. Motion
carried 4 to 2 with Chairman Senelly, Vice Chairman Vowell, Commissioner Card, and
Commissioner Oldham voting for and Commissioner Allen and Commissioner Sheridan,
voting against.
2. Consider and take appropriate action regarding the August 7, 2014 Planning and
Zoning Commission meeting minutes.
Chairman Senelly asked for comments or discussion on the August 7, 2014, Planning and Zoning
Commission meeting minutes.
Chairman Senelly asked for a motion.
Motion made by Commissioner Allen, seconded by Commissioner Vowell, to approve
the August 7, 2014 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting minutes as corrected.
Motion carried 5 to 1 with Chairman Senelly, Vice Chairman Vowell, Commissioner
Allen, Commissioner Card, and Commissioner Oldham voting for and Commissioner
Sheridan, voting against.
PUBLIC HEARING
CONVENE INTO PUBLIC HEARING — START TIME — 7:05 P.M.
3. Public Hearing to consider a request for approval of a Specific Use Permit — Ch. 13 —
Section 6.02, of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, to allow a Snow Cone
Establishment, located at 800 Trophy Club Dr.
Applicant, Alecia Martin, 1 Jamie Ct, Trophy Club, TX 76262. She has filled out the SUP form and
provided all the information requested. She has given Matt Jones pictures of the trailer. She has
drawn the location of where the trailer will be on the map of the Trophy Lakes Church parking lot.
She also has a signature from the Trophy Lakes Church. The church has allowed her to be at the
northeast corner.
Chairman Senelly asked for comments or discussion on request for approval of a Specific Use
Permit — Ch. 13 — Section 6.02, of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, to allow a Snow Cone

Motion made by Commissioner Allen, seconded by Commissioner Sheridan, to close
Public Hearing. Motion passed unanimously.

4. Discussion and Recommendation regarding a request for approval of a Specific Use
Permit — Ch. 13 — Section 6.02, of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, to allow a
Snow Cone Establishment, located at 800 Trophy Club Dr.
Chairman Senelly asked for comments or discussion regarding a request for approval of a

Chairman Senelly asked for staff comments.
Chairman Senelly asked for a motion.
Motion made by Commissioner Sheridan, seconded by Commissioner Card, to
recommend to Town Council approval of SUP limited to the following:
• 2014 operating year allowed through October 31, 2014 and then trailer removed
• 2015 operating year allowed April 1, 2014 through October 31, 2015 and then
trailer removed.
• Photos provided before Town Council meeting
0 Site Plan provided before Town Council meeting
• Skirting required
0 No overnight outside storage
• Hours: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. while school is in session
• Hours: 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. during the summer
• Open 7 days a week
• No special events unless written permission given by property owner
Motion carried 5 to 1 with Chairman Senelly, Vice Chairman Vowell, Commissioner Card,
Commissioner Oldham, and Commissioner Sheridan voting for and Commissioner Allen
voting against.

5. Discussion and Recommendation regarding a request for approval of a Temporary Use
Permit — Ch. 13 — Section 5.01, of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, to allow a
Portable Classroom, located at 925 Trophy Club Dr.
Chairman Senelly asked for staff report.
Chairman Senelly asked for comments or discussion regarding a request for approval of a

allow a Portable Classroom, located at 925 Trophy Club Dr.
Applicant, Tommy Ehrenberg, answered questions by the Commissioners.
Chairman Senelly asked for a motion.
Motion made by Commissioner Sheridan, seconded by Commissioner Allen, to table
motion until next Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. Motion passed
unanimously.
6. Future Agenda Items and questions or discussion of current and future items.
