CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM
Chairman Sheridan called the April 9, 2015, Planning and Zoning Commission meeting
to order at 7:01 p.m. and announced a quorum present (5 members).
Present: 5 - Commissioner Card, Commissioner Senelly, Commissioner Oldham,
Chairman Sheridan, and Vice Chairman Vowell
Absent: 2 - Commissioner Ross, Commissioner Mills
STAFF PRESENT:
Interim Town Planner Ron Ruthven
Recording Secretary Robbie Killingsworth
PUBLIC HEARING - OPENED AT 7:01 P.M.
2015-0248-T Public Hearing to consider a request to amend Ordinance No. 95-20, PD Planned
Development District No. 13, Exhibit "C" Development Standards to delete, alter, and/or
allow additional uses for Tract 1, Retail Uses, approximately 3.8 acres, a part of the
"Village" Shopping Center, located on Lot 1, The Village at Trophy Club, 2001 State
Highway 114, Trophy Club, TX 76262.

Chairman Sheridan asked applicant for comments. Applicant asked to postpone comments until later.
CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS
Citizens are allowed three (3) minutes to address the Board regarding an item over which the Board has policy or
oversight authority as provided by Texas law, the ethics order, or other policy order.
Chairman Sheridan asked if there were any public requests to speak. No public requests were turned in.
Motion made by Commissioner Senelly, seconded by Vice Chairman Vowell, to close the Public
Hearing. The motion carried by the following vote.
Aye: 5 - Commissioner Card, Commissioner Senelly, Commissioner Oldham,
Chairman Sheridan, Vice Chairman Vowell, and Commissioner Ross

REGULAR SESSION — OPENED AT 7:03 P.M.
2015-0213-T Discussion and recommendation of a request to amend Ordinance No. 95-20, PD
Planned Development District No. 13, Exhibit "C" Development Standards to delete,
alter, and/or allow additional uses for Tract 1, Retail Uses, approximately 3.8 acres, a
part of the "Village" Shopping Center, located on Lot 1, The Village at Trophy Club,
2001 State Highway 114, Trophy Club, TX 76262.
Chairman Sheridan asked applicant for presentation.

Chairman Sheridan asked for staff report.
Motion made by Commissioner Senelly, seconded by Commissioner Card, to approve subject to
the following condition:
that the definition contained in the ordinance for this item, attached in the
4/14/2015 Town Council packet, be the official definition for the use. The
use and definition are as follows:
Indoor Canine Retail and Training*
* This use is defined as a retail establishment which sells canine related items and
accessories and which also trains domesticated or tamed dogs, all within a completely
enclosed building. Training shall not include the training of any other animals, nor any
"prohibited animal" as defined in the Town Code of Ordinances. The boarding and
grooming of any animals is prohibited."
The motion carried by the following vote.

Vice Chairman Vowel[
Against: 0 - none
Abstain: 1 - Chairman Sheridan

meeting be adjourned. The motion carried by the following vote.
