JOINT SESSION MINUTES

The Economic Development Corporation (EDC) 4B and the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 1(TIRZ) of the
Town of Trophy Club, Texas, met in a Joint Session on Tuesday,January 29, 2019. The meeting was held within the
boundaries of the Town and was open to the public.

President Bone and Chairperson Inge announced the date of Tuesday, January 29, 2019, called the joint EDC 4B
and TIRZ Board Regular Session meeting to order and announced a quorum at 6:02 p.m.
CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS
Citizens are allowed four(4) minutes to address the Corporation regarding an item over which the Corporation has
policy or oversight authority as provided by Texas law, the ethics order, or other policy order.
Brian Brennan, 2748 Chatswood Dr., Trophy Club spoke about ethics and stated if any kind of relationship exists
between OTD and/or OTD ownership with board or council members, it should be reported.
REGULAR(JOINT)SESSION
1. Consider and take appropriate action regarding the TIRZ minutes dated June 12,2018.
Motion:
Motion made by Director Richmond,seconded by Chairperson Inge,to approve the June 12, 2018 TIRZ minutes.
Motion carried 4-0-0(TIRZ)
2. Fiscal Year 2019 Budget:
A) Consider and take appropriate action to amend an economic development agreement with OTD TC, LLC.
Staff made a presentation of the agreement and it was followed by discussion by Board Members. Resident
(Mayor) Nick Sanders spoke providing historical data about the agreement dates. Chairperson Inge made a
motion to recommend approval of the amended agreement with OTD TC, LLC to obtain the certificate of
occupancy with an amended date of 05/31/2019. Original agreement required obtaining the certificate(s) of
occupancy by the date of December 31, 2019 and the motion amended that date to May 31, 2019. Motion
was seconded by Director Richmond.
Motion carried 4-0-0(TIRZ)
3. Consider and take appropriate action regarding the EDC 4B minutes dated December 18,2018.
Motion:
Motion made by Secretary/Treasurer Richmond, seconded by Director Inge,to approve the December 18, 2018
EDC 4B minutes.
Motion carried 7-0-0(EDC 4B)
4. Fiscal Year 2019 Budget:
A) Consider and take appropriate action to amend an economic development agreement with OTD TC, LLC.
EDC President Bone made a motion to recommend approval of the amended agreement with OTD TC, LLC to
obtain the certificate of occupancy with an amended date of 05/31/2019. Original agreement required
obtaining the certificate(s) of occupancy by the date of December 31, 2019 and the motion amended that date
to May 31, 2019. Motion was seconded by Director Whipple.
