ETHICS REVIEW COMMISSION REGULAR SESSION MINUTES
WEDNESDAY,MAY 30,2018 AT 4:00 P.M.

COUNCIL CHAMBERS
The Ethics Review Commission of the Town of Trophy Club,Texas, met in Regular Session on Wednesday, May 30,
2018.The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the public.
COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT:
Jared King Chairman
Cory Williamson Vice Chairman
David DeHaven Commissioner
Reece Bautista Alternate Commissioner
STAFF PRESENT:
Tom Class Town Manager
Holly Fimbres Town Secretary/RMO
Chairman King announced the date of Wednesday, May 30, 2018, called the meeting to order and announced a
quorum at 4:03 p.m.
CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS
Citizens are allowed four(4)minutes to address the Commission regarding an item over which the Commission has
policy or oversight authority as provided by Texas law,the ethics order,or other policy order.
There were no citizen presentations.
REGULAR SESSION
1. Consider and take appropriate action regarding the appointment of the Chairman(H.Fimbres).
Motion:
Motion made by Commissioner DeHaven,seconded by Vice Chairman Williamson,to appoint Jared King to serve as
the Chairman of the Ethics Review Commission.
Motion passed unanimously.
2. Consider and take appropriate action regarding the appointment of the Vice Chairman(H.Fimbres).
Motion:
Motion made by Vice Chairman Williamson,seconded by Chairman King,to appoint David DeHaven to serve as the
Vice Chairman of the Ethics Review Commission.
Motion passed unanimously.
3. Consider and take appropriate action regarding the Ethics Review Commission Minutes dated May 17,2017
(H.Fimbres).
Motion:
Motion made by Chairman King, seconded by Vice Chairman DeHaven, to approve the Ethics Review Commission
Minutes dated May 17,2017,as presented in the packet.
Motion passed unanimously.
4. Consider and take appropriate action regarding the Code of Ethics and Conduct ordinance, providing any
recommendations to the Town Council for amendments(H.Fimbres).
Conversation took place that there were no proposed amendments to the current ordinance as it was written.
No action was taken on this item.
