Minutes EDC 4A 01/24/2005MINUTES OF WORKSHOPIREGULAR SESSION ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION 4A TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB JANUARY 24,2005 STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF DENTON The Economic Development Corporation 4A of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, met in a Regular Session on January 24, 2005. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the public. DIRECTORS PRESENT: J. D. Harvey Neil Twomey Bob Fair Dwight Morrow President SecretarylTreasurer Director Vice President arrived at 6:12 p.m. DIRECTORS ABSENT: Gary Cantrell Director STAFF AND GUEST (S) PRESENT: Roger Unger Staff Liaison Jan Woodruff Staff Donna Welsh Town Manager Terry Flickinger Baseball Association WORKSHOP SESSION CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM: Director Twomey called the meeting to order at 6:09 pm, announced a quorum, and proceeded to the regular session. REGULAR SESSION CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM: DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION FOR APPROVAL OF DUGOUT COVERS FOR THE BASEBALL FIELDS: Terry Flickinger, Vice-President of the Baseball Association was present to answer any questions. It was suggested to Adam Adams that a more permanent structure or vandal proof material be looked into. The amount should be increased to $8,000. Director Morrow will do some investigation with the Attorney General's Office about this type of expense. PRESENTATION BY ADAM ADAMS, PARKS AND RECREATION ADMINISTRATOR: Adam Adams talked about Town projects, Community Pool area development, and Harmony Park Improvement Plan. REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES: Director Twomey made a motion to approve the meeting minutes for September 27, 2004. Director Morrow seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The meeting minutes for October 25 were tabled until the next meeting. REVIEW AND APPROVE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS: Director Fair made a motion to approve the October, November, and December 2004 financials. Director Twomey seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
