Minutes EDC 4A 05/31/2011INUTES OF A REGULAR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION 4A FOR THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB 100 MUNICIPAL DRIVE, TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS TUESDAY, MAY 31, 2011 7:00 P.M. STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF DENTON § The Economic Development Corporation 4A of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, met in a Regular Session on Tuesday, May 315t at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the public. DIRECTORS PRESENT JD Harvey President Richard Bell Secretary Neil Twomey Director Bob Fair Director DIRECTORS ABSENT Director Dwight Morrow was not in attendance but turned in his resignation prior to the meeting STAFF AND GUEST(S) PRESENT Adam Adams Parks and Recreation Director Margie Cantrell Council Liaison Michael Aguilera Interim Finance Director 1 Discuss and take appropriate action on the approval of the January 31, 2011 minutes. President Harvey called the regular session to order at 7:07 p.m.., noting a quorum was present. 2 Discuss and provide input concerning a discussion of EDC4A finances and budget by Town staff. Michael Aguilera, interim Director of Finance, was introduced. Mr. Aguilera reviewed EDC 4a's balances, transfers and budget. For tracking purposes, the board would like future transfers from the "EDC 4A" budget to the "Town" budget to be submitted on the "Application for Funds" form so that they can ensure money is available when it is needed. The Board also requested that funds to be transferred remain in the EDC budget up to such time they are required. 3 Staff updates and discussion of same for the following items: a. Trophy Club Park Director Adams let the board know that video system installed at Trophy Club Park is working perfectly. In the future, a similar system might be considered for the Community Pool. b. PID projects Freedom Park is on target to be completed before PetFest on September 241n c. Bond projects C! Independence East in on track to be finished in mid September. Freedom Park is on target to be completed before PetFest on September 24th The Harmony Park softball fields will be converted to new soccer fields. Town Council will discuss the Spray Pad for Harmony Park at their next meeting. The Corps has given the "green light" on the majority of the "concept" plan for Trophy Club Park.
