On June 14, 2010 and July 12, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. there will be a Public Hearing of
the Economic Development Corporation 4B of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, at
the Svore Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Trophy Club, Texas, 76262, for
the purpose of considering the expenditure of funds for the fiscal year 2010-2011
budget. There is a sixty (60) day period that begins May 26, 2010; the date of the
public notice of the proposed project(s), during which the public may submit a

in Regular Session on May 10, 2010. The meeting was held within the boundaries of
the Town and was open to the public.

Meeting Minutes
Kathy Carlton, 226 Phoenix, came before the Board to request funding for the 25th
Anniversary Celebration, to be held Labor Day weekend. Carlton gave an overview
of the planned activities throughout Labor Day weekend.
Carlton addressed questions from the Board regarding the Committee’s budget.
Director Shuman would like the committee to come back to the Board with a
corrected budget, sponsors list and copy proof of the cup.
Director Shuman shared that she would like the Committee to go to additional Trophy
Club Boards and area clubs, such as the soccer and baseball associations.
Director Sanders made a motion to approve funding in the amount of $1000 out
of miscellaneous expenses for the 25th Anniversary Committee. Director
Glaser seconded. The Committee will come back to the next meeting. The
motion CARRIED by the following vote:

process for a commercial piece of property in Trophy Club; discussion of the same.
Carolyn Huggins, Planning & Zoning Manager, took the Board through the
Development Process for a commercial piece of property. Huggins addressed
questions from the Board.

EVENUES
Sales Tax - As required by the Government Accounting Standards Board, sales tax is reported for the
month it is collected by the vendor. February, 2009 collections are remitted to the city in April, 2009.
Receipts are reported on a two month lag, therefore April, 2009 revenues reflect only five months of
collections.
Interest Income – The budget for investment interest is based on prior year trends. Current low interest
rates are reflected in the variance from budget.
EXPENDITURES
Economic Development Projects – The year-to-date actual expenditures reflect payments to GSBS.
Transfer to Town Interest & Sinking – The transfer to the Town Interest & Sinking Fund reflects 25% of
the annual debt service payment associated with the $1.4 million bond issue for Trophy Club Pool.
Transfer to Town General Fund – The transfer to the Town General Fund reflects the repayment for
administration expenses.
Advertising – The year-to-date actual expenditures reflect the payment for the Dallas Business Journal ad.
Dues and Memberships – The budget and year-to-date actual expenditures reflect the annual membership
to ICSC.
