Overview The Town advertised for two weeks soliciting RFQs for firms to provide professional services regarding the creation and adoption of two Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones (TIRZ). A TIRZ is commonly referred to as a TIF District, or Tax Increment Financing District. We received information requests related to the RFQ, but only had one firm respond: Bennett Benner Pettit. Attached are the firm's Qualifications and Proposal. The two areas identified for TIFs are the Trophy Wood business area and the 26-acre parcel at Trophy Club Drive at Highway 114. Mr. David Pettit will be at the meeting to provide a "TIF 101" presentation, as well as answer any questions the Board may have.
