The Economic Development Corporation of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, met in a
Regular Session July 10, 2000. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was
open to the public.

REGULAR SESSION
CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM:
President Garlitz called the meeting to order and announced a quorum at 6:35 p.m.
FOLLOWUP BY JODI ASHBY ON THE 4'ru OF JULY CELEBRATION:
Ms. Ashby requested that presentation be postponed to August meeting. No action taken.
REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES:
Director Smith made a motion to accept the minutes as written. Director Hicks seconded. Motion
passed unanimously with Director Christlieb abstaining.
REVIEW AND APPROVE FINANCIAL REPORT:
Director Christlieb made a motion to accept the financial statements as written. Director Smith
seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION REGARDING DIRECT
INVOLVEMENT/ROLE IN DISTRIBUTING PUBLIC RELATIONS
TAPES/BROCHURES. DISCUSS CONTACT LIST PUT TOGETHER BY PAUL
ZIGLER:
Director Zigler was absent. No action taken.

PAM CATES TO ADVISE DATE FOR MEETING BETWEEN EDC AND P/R
COMMITTEE:
Director Cates was absent. No action taken.
DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION REGARDING DRAFT FOR EDC
INFORMATION SHEET FOR BROCHURE UPDATE LATER IN YEAR:
Director Cates is to update information. All existing stock will be used before printing new
updated sheet. No action taken.
DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION REGARDING APPLICATIONS FOR
FUNDS:
Director Christlieb made a motion to defer discussion on the application presented by Public
Relations Committee until August meeting since the request is for less than $10,000. Director
Garlitz seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION REGARDING EDUCATION TO
RESIDENTS ABOUT WHAT EDC DOES:
Director Christlieb will write an article for the Town's newspaper Around the Town about EDC
and it's past accomplishments. Director Garlitz seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
OTHER BUSINESS:
Directors discussed the need for improved signage for businesses. The overall consensus
supports a possible change in the Town's ordinances.
ADJOURN:
Director Smith made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 p. m. Director Christlieb seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.
