The Economic Development Corporation 4B of the Town of Trophy Club, "Texas, met in a
Workshop/Regular Session on November 12, 2001. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the
Town and was open to the public.

CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM:
President Hicks stated a quorum was present and proceeded to the regular session.

REGULAR SESSION/PUBLIC HEARING
CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM:
President Hicks called the meeting to order and announced a quorum at 6:33 p.m.
DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION REGARDING PUBLIC HEARING FOR FUND
REQUESTS:
A. $82,000 FOR EMERGENCY EARLY WARNING SYSTEM.
There were no comments from the audience.
PRESENTATION BY CHIEFS DAVID MILLER AND GREG TUCKER REGARDING BID
SPECS FOR EMERGENCY EARLY WARNING SYSTEM. DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE
ACTION:
Chiefs Miller and Tucker passed out bid specs for the warning system. The projected date for the bid
appointment will be January 14`x'. Susan Edstrom requested that Chiefs Miller and Tucker go before
Planning and Zoning and all other appropriate committees.

DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION REGARDING UPDATING THE WEBSITE:
Jonathan Witherspoon provided printouts of the work that he has completed for the website. Directors
wanted to know where NCTCOG got their demographic information. It appears that their percentages are
incorrect. Changes and corrections include: Susan Edstrom stated that "Member" should be added before
Council Liaison on member page. Donna Welsh is listed as City Manager and should be Town Manager.
Art Frame Gallerie should be listed as Art & Frame Gallerie. Walgreen should be listed as Walgreens. On
the 'facts page under Community Involvement, it should read "Trophy Club is proud of its many volunteer
committees and associations. A reference to universities in Denton should be added. Directors
commended Jonathan on a job well done. Director Carter made a motion to accept the website with the
mentioned changes. Director Edstrom seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES:
Director Christlieb made a motion to accept the minutes as written. Director Cotton seconded. Motion
passed unanimously.
REVIEW AND APPROVE FINANCIAL REPORT:
Director Edstrom made a motion to accept the financial report as written. Director Carter seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.

Director Christlieb made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:08 p. m. Director Edstrom seconded.
