The Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Trophy Club
met in Regular Session on January 20, 1986. The meeting was
held at the Municipal Utility District Building, 100 Water
Plard: Road, Trophy Club, Texas. The meeting was held within
the boundaries of the Town and open to the public.
CALL TO ORDER
Commission England called the meeting to order.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
The Commission approved the minutes of the December 30, 1985
Regular Meeting minutes and the January 8, 1986 Workshop
minutes.
CONSIDERATION OF AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING REGULATIONS FOR A
GOVERNMENTAL USE DISTRICT.
Commissioner England introduced the Ordinance and gave a
brief outline of the contents. The Commission reviewed the
Ordinance with Dan Boutwell of Freese and Nichols and Fire
Chief Unger.
Commissioner Kemp recommended the Commission document their
changes and have Mr. Boutwell review the Ordinance since he
did not see the Ordinance before the meeting. Mr. Boutwell
would then document his recommendations and present them to
the City Council for approval.
The suggested changes from the Commission were:
1. Exhibit "A" 1.4- Take out sections D & E.
2. Page 5- Remove reference to nursing and convelasent homes
for the elderly.
3. Page 2 Item 1.6B-
