Minutes P&Z 03/02/1987MINUTES OF PLANNING AND TROPHY THE STATE OF TEXAS ) COUNTY OF DENTON ) REGULAR MEETING ZONING COMMISSION CLUB, TEXAS The Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Trophy Club met in Regular Session on Monday, March 2nd, 1987 at 7:00 P.M. at the Municipal Utility District Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Trophy Club, Texas 76262. The meeting was held within the Town boundar- ies and was held open to the public. Pete Reuss Mike Hamper Ralph Kemp Vance Booker Also present were: Aldo Martinago Bill Richardson CALL TO ORDER Co -Chairman Commissioner Commissioner Commissioner Councilman Sales Office Co -Chairman Reuss called the meeting to order at 7:02 P.M. COMMISSION TO CONSIDER ALLOWING SALES OFFICE TO PUT UP SECURITY LIGHTS AT SALES OFFICE IN THE FRONT AND REAR PARKING LOTS. Commissioner Kemp made the motion to approve the security lights at the Sales Office and Development Office (2) two at each locat- ion and an additional light at the Sales Office near the satelite dish. Commissioner Hamper seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. REVIEW OF CITY COUNCIL INPUT ON COMMERCIAL ORDINANCE The Commission reviewed the Commercial Ordinance 085-31. The Commission made some changes to the Commercial Planned Develop- ment Zoning Ordinance specifically for the 55 acre commercial tract between Plantation Apts. and Shopping Center at the corner of Hwy 114 and T.W. King Road. The Commission instructed the Recording Secretary to redraft Ordinance and send a copy to each Commissioner and also to the City Attorney for approval. UPDATE FROM PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE Commissioner Hamper stated that everything was going well and that most of the builders now have the proceedures down.The Comm ittee granted a height variance on Lot 36 Section Oak Hill. The ridge height must be no higher then the house located on Lot 37. PRESENTATION BY COMMISSIONERS Co -Chairman Reuss asked the other Commissioners what they thought about asking the council to adopt a policy that if the Planning and Zoning Commission passes an Ordinance unanimously that the Page 2 Planning and Zoning Commission Regular Meeting -March 2, 1987 PRESENTATIONS BY COMMISSIONERS (CONT.) council then has to have a vote of 3/4 to change or disapprove the Ordinance. Discussion ensued. No.action was taken. ADJOURN c; Commissioner Hamper made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Booker seconded the motion. Motion carried unanim- ously.
