The Town Council and Planning and Zoning Commission met for a Joint
Public Hearing on Monday, August 8th, 1988 at 7.:00 P.M. The meeting
was held at -the Municipal Utility.District Building, 100 Municipal
Drive, Trophy Club, Texas. The meeting was held within the Town
boundaries and was open to the Public.

Mayor Carter called the meeting to order at 7:05 P.M. noting a quorum
was present with Town Council and Planning and Zoning Commission.
INVOCATION
Dale Hiestand gave the invocation.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Council Member Doran led in the Pledge of Allegiance.

CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDER POSSIBLE ACTION ON THE ZONING
OF CERTAIN TRACTS OF LAND LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN BOUNDARIES AND
OWNED BY THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPER:
A) GIBRALTAR SAVINGS - LAKE FOREST DEVELOPMENT - 45.282 ACRES
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT,- RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL USES
THESE TRACTS OF LAND ARE BEING CONSIDERED AS A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT BUT ARE SUBJECT TO ANY OTHER ZONING CLASSIFICATION AS STATED
IN THE TOWN COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE.
At this time, Mayor Carter turned the meeting over to Mike Hamper,
Chairman of Planning and Zoning.
Chairman Hamper stated there had been seven -(7) formal submittals
from Gibraltar since September of 1987. Chairman Hamper asked everyone
to keep in mind the property was only to be zoned this evening and
the Preliminary Plat and Site Plan would be considered at a later date.
Chairman Hamper then asked Kirk Breitenweisher, representative of
Gibraltar Savings, to make his presentation to the Public and Council.
After the presentation Mayor Carter asked if there were any questions
or comments from the Public.
The following residents of Trophy Club had questions and comments for
the developer:

Kay Pratt 13 Troon Drive
Diane Prator 4 Brookfield Court
TOWN COUNCIL AND PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO CONSIDER ACTION
AND/OR CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT.
Commissioner Schaaf made a motion to approve. -and recommend 'to7the�Town
Council the Planned Development zoning request be approved with
amendments: 1) Banking facilities would be restricted to Area D,
2) Five thousand square foot building would be omitted and the
square footage could be used elsewhere, 3) Town Attorney would have
to review and approve the Planned Development Ordinance.
Commissioner Hiestand seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously
by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Commissioner Paige moved to close the Public Hearing. Commissioner
Schaaf seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.

Council Member Martignago made a motion to approve the Planned Development
as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission. Council Member
Doran seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURN
Council Member Martignago made a motion to adjourn the Public Hearing.
Council Member Hallgren seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
