The Town Council and Planning and Zoning Commission met in Joint Session
on January 28th, 1988 at 7:00 P.M. at the Municipal Utility District Building,
100 Municipal Drive, Trophy Club, Texas.The_meeting was held within the Town
boundaries and was held open to the Public.

Mayor Carter called the meeting to order at 7:10 P.M. noting that a quorum
was present with the Town Council and Planning and Zoning Commission.

Council Member Vance gave the Invocation.

THE TOWN COUNCIL AND PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO CONTINUE AND CONDUCT
A PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDER POSSIBLE ACTION ON THE ZONING OF CERTAIN TRACTS
OF LAND LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN BOUNDARIES AND OWNED BY THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPER:
GIBRALTAR SAVINGS - LAKE FOREST DEVELOPMENT - 45.282 ACRES
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL USES
Chairman Hamper asked the Planning and Zoning Commission not to debate issues at
this meeting, so the developer can make a formal presentation to the Public.
Chairman Hamper stated that the Planning and Zoning Commission has had a Workshop
Session with the developer and is planning on having another Workshop Meeting
with Gibraltar Savings the first week of February. Hamper also said the Planning
and Zoning Commission would not be ready to make a zoning recommendation on this
property tonight.
David Smith, Gibraltars Planner, stated that the revision of the proposed zoning
dated January 28th, 1988 is a product from the Workshop held with the Planning and
Zoning Commission. All changes shown in the new pamplet are in italic type.
Mr. Smith went on to give a formal presentation of Gibraltar Savings proposed
Planned Development. Discussion ensued. There were several questions asked by both
the Town Council and Public in regards to the proposal. No action was taken.
TOWN COUNCIL AND PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO CONSIDER ACTION AND/OR
CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED PLANNED DEVELOPMENT ZONING
Commissioner Kemp made a motion to continue the Public Hearing to March 14, 1988
at 7:00 P.M. Commissioner Kardish seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Council Member Vance made a motion to continue the Public Hearing to March 14th,
1988 at 7:00 P.M. Mayor Pro Tem Martignago seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.

Commissioner Kemp made a motion to adjourn the Public Hearing. Commissioner Kardish
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Council Member Vance made a motion to adjourn the Public Hearing. Council'Member
Kunkel seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
