The Town Council and Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Trophy Club
met in Joint Public Hearing Session on Tuesday, May 17th, 1988 at 7:00 P.M. The
meeting was held at the Municipal Utility District Building, 100 Municipal Drive,
Trophy Club, Texas. The meeting was held within the Town boundaries and was open
to the Public.

CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Carter called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. noting a quorum was present
with both Town Council and Planning and Zoning Commission.
Council Member Vance gave the invocation.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Council Member Doran led in the pledge of allegiance.
THE TOWN COUNCIL AND PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO CONTINUE AND CONDUCT
A PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDER POSSIBLE ACTION ON THE ZONING OF CERTAIN TRACTS
OF LAND LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN BOUNDARIES AND OWNED BY THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPER:
GIBRALTAR SAVINGS - LAKE FOREST DEVELOPMENT - 45.282 ACRES
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL USES
THESE TRACTS OF''.LAND ARE:'BEING'CONSIDERED AS A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
BUT ARE SUBJECT TO ANY OTHER ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AS STATED IN THE
TOWN COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE.

Chairman Hamper stated�`Gipraltar Savings has made some changes to their zoning
proposal at the last Workshop Meeting with the Planning and Zoning Commission.
The general consensus of the P & Z was the original proposal was a better plan.
Chairman Hamper felt because of the recent changes in Gibraltars zoning proposal
the Public Hearing should be continued to a date certain.
Commissioner Kemp stated he felt the Developers were wasting time and the Town
should think about zoning the property R-12.
TOWN COUNCIL AND PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO CONSIDER ACTION AND/OR
CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED PLANNED DEVELOPMENT ZONING.
Commissioner Kemp made a motion to continue the Public Hearing to August 8th,
1988 at 7:00 P.M. Commissioner Kardish seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.
Mayor Pro Tem4<Vance made a motion to continue the Public Hearing to August
8th, 1988 at 7:00 P.M. Council Member Martignago seconded the motion. Motion
carried unanimously.
Commissioner Kemp made a motion to adjourn. Commissioner Booker seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Pro --Tern Vance made a motion to adjourn. Council Member Martignago seconded
the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
