Minutes P&Z 08/17/1995MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF DENTON § The Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Trophy Club met in Regular Session on Thursday, August 17, 1995 at 7:00 P.M. The meeting was held at the Municipal Utility District Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Trophy Club, Texas. The meeting was held within the Town boundaries and was open to the Public. Mike Hamper Chairman Vance Booker Co -Chairman Don Cotton Commissioner Tom Mayfield Commissioner Bob Paige Commissioner David Schaaf Commissioner Commissioner Williams was unable to attend. Staff and Guest present were: Pauline Shaw P&Z Administrator Dan Boutwell Municipal Planning Resources Group Larry Hayes Country Club Manager Jay Knoll Construction Manager New Nine Holes CALL TO ORDER Chairman Hamper called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. noting a quorum was present. He then welcomed the Commissioners, staff and guests. MR. CHARLES HERBERT REQUEST PERMISSION TO RE -ROOF HIS HOME AT 29 TIMBERLINE DRIVE (LOT 1314 SECTION 10) WITH WOOD SHINGLES, TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION. Mr. Herbert did not attend the meeting, therefore Commissioner Paige made a motion to table this item until the next meeting. Commissioner Cotton seconded; motion passed unanimously. MR. LLOYD STEPHEN KIMBLE JR. REQUEST PERMISSION TO RE -ROOF HIS HOME 1032 TROPHY CLUB DRIVE (LOT 344, SECTION 4) WITH WOOD SHINGLES. TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION. Page 2, P&Z Minutes from 6/22/95 The Commissioners discussed at great length fire retardant shingles with Mr. Kimble. The following is a List of criteria to be used from this day forward: Properly executed warranty to be submitted with application. 2. Tags on shingles must certify grade 1 class c pressure impregnated with Fire retardate chemicals. 3. Notify building inspections at 817/430-1911 ext. 204 when shingles arrive on property before installation. 4. Certify applicant understands and fully complies with ordinance 94-13 by signing permit application. Commissioner Williams made a motion to approve wood shingles for 1032 Trophy Club if all the above steps are in compliance. Commissioner Cotton seconded; motion passed with Commissioner Schaaf voting against. There being no further business to conduct, Commissioner Cotton made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:52 P.M. Commissioner Mayfield seconded; motion passed unanimously. Chairman Secretary Workshop on fence ordinance was held.
