PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
October 15, 1998
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas met in a regular session on
October 15, 1998 at 7:00 P.M. in the Boardroom of the Trophy Club Administration Building, 100
Municipal Drive, Trophy Club, Texas 76262.

Chairman Mike Hamper called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. announcing a quorum was present.
DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION REGARDING EAGLES RIDGE PHASE II & III:
John Harbin, VP, Beck Properties, spoke to the Commission regarding the concept design. Depending on
how quickly the lots in Phase I sell will determine how quickly Phase II will start. Some ideas discussed
were:
♦ Extension of the pathway plan
♦ Access to and from Eagle's Ridge
♦ Cul-de-sacs; drainage into the Corps property
♦ Allowing for pedestrian and bicycle access to Corps property
The Commission asked Mr. Harbin to proceed with a concept plan.
DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION REGARDING PLANS FOR THE "PLAZA":
Chairperson Hamper updated the Commission on the meeting that was held earlier in the afternoon with
Mr. Hamper, Dan Boutwell, Cathy Morgas and David Burgher in attendance. Mr. Burgher will come
back at a later time with a concept plan which will include ideas that came out of this day's meeting.
The parcel of land in question is currently zoned commercial general, with a possibility of rezoning to a
PD.
No action taken.

DISCUSSION REGARDING THE PRESENTATION OF THE PATHWAYS PLAN:
During the discussion it was ascertained that bikes and in-line skates were not to be addressed in the
study and references to them need to be excluded.
At the presentation to the Town Council each Commissioner will be asked to make comments.
OTHER MATTERS:
Chairperson Hamper updated the Commissioners regarding the Vision Committee.
Commissioner Hill updated the Commissioners regarding the Corps of Engineers property.
ADJOURN:
Commissioner Cotton moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:20 p.m. Commissioner Gilliland seconded;
motion passed unanimously.
