PLANNING AND 'ZONING COMMISSION
September 17, 1998
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas met in a regular session on
September 17, 1998 at 7:00 P.M. in the Boardroom of the Trophy Club Administration Building, 100
Municipal Drive, Trophy Club, Texas 76262.

Chairman Mike Hamper called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. announcing a quorum was present.
DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION REGARDING CLARIFICATION ON THE ISSUE
OF GARAGE SALES AS THEY APPEAR IN THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE:
Following discussion, the verbiage in the new zoning ordinance will sufficiently clarify the Commission's
stance on garage sales.
DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION REGARDING THE HIKE AND BIKE TRAILS:
Chairperson Hamper updated the Commissioners on the meeting of September 9, 1998.
The Commissioner's discussed with Planners Dan Boutwell and Barry Hudson the recommendation
memorandum dated 9/16/98 in preparation of the presentation to the Town Council in October.
OTHER MATTERS:
Commissioner Gene Hill updated the Commissioners on the meeting of September 14, 1998 with the
Corps of Engineers.
Planner Boutwell updated the Commissioners regarding a conversation with the Town Engineer on
whether the Town had a flood plain ordinance. His recommendation is for P&Z to create a flood plain
ordinance. Planner Boutwell agreed to draft this and bring it back to the Commission in early November.

ADJOURN:
Commissioner Hill moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:20 p.m. Commissioner Reed seconded; motion
passed unanimously.
