MINUTES OF A REGULAR SESSION

TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
18 MAY 2006
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas met in a Public
Hearing and a Regular Session on 18 May 2006, at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room of the
Public Services Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Trophy Club, Texas 76262.

A.1 CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM.
Chairman Hill called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
B.1 DISCUSS AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION RELATIVE TO:
A REQUEST FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE SIGNAGE REQUIREMENTS FOR TRACT 4B OF THE
VILLAGE AT TROPHY CLUB, MORE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNATED AS 99 TROPHY CLUB DRIVE,
THE EXECUTIVE SUITES. (PDAMD-06-021)
Ms. Fleck presented the applicant’s changes to the Commission. The Commission discussed
hesitation to approve a sign at a total height of 6’11” located on top of a berm. Discussion
ensued relative to a reduction of the height and an increase to the width of the sign.
A motion was made to recommend approval of the request, with the following modifications:
Total width - thirteen feet (13’)
Total height - three feet, nine inches (3’9”)
Minimum distance from the back of curb on Trophy Club Drive – fifteen feet (15’)
Motion: Sheridan
Second: Ashby
Ayes: Hill, Moss, Reed, Stamos, Stephens
Nays: None
Action: 7-0
Motion carried.
C.1 REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES.

A motion was made to approve the minutes, as amended.
