CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM
Chairman Opipare called to order the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting for Thursday, February 13,
2020 at 6:00 p.m. and announced a quorum.
Board Members Present:
Chairman Louis Opipare, Jr.
Vice Chairman Jeff Sims
Board Member Doug Harper
Alternate Board Member Jack Ormond
Board Members Absent:
Board Member Sean Cannon
Secretary John Murtaugh
Staff and Guests Present:

CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS
Citizens are allowed four(4) minutes to address the Board regarding an item over which the
Board has policy or oversight authority as provided by Texas law, the ethics order, or other
policy order.
Chairman Opipare asked if there were any public requests to speak. No public requests were
submitted.
REGULAR SESSION
2020-069-T Case ZBA-20-001 (2541 Geneva Court)
a. Conduct a Public Hearing regarding a request for a variance to allow a proposed
structure to exceed the maximum lot coverage at 2541 Geneva Court in Trophy Club.
b. Consider and take appropriate action regarding a request for a variance to allow a
proposed structure to exceed the maximum lot coverage at 2541 Geneva Court in
Trophy Club.

Chairman Opipare opened the public hearing at 6:01 p.m.
Town Planner Payne provided the staff report and was available for questions.
Applicant Linda Woessner presented information about the project and was available for
questions.
Chairman Opipare closed the public hearing at 6:06 p.m.
Chairman Opipare asked for a motion. Alternate Board Member Ormond motioned to approve
as presented, seconded by Vice Chairman Sims.
Chairman Opipare called for a vote. The motion passed unanimously(4-0).
2020-070-T Case ZBA-20-002(2426 Rosebury Lane)
a. Conduct a Public Hearing regarding a request for a variance to allow a proposed
structure to exceed the maximum lot coverage at 2426 Rosebury Lane in Trophy Club.
b. Consider and take appropriate action regarding a request for a variance to allow a
proposed structure to exceed the maximum lot coverage at 2426 Rosebury Lane in
Trophy Club.
Chairman Opipare opened the public hearing at 6:08 p.m.
Town Planner Payne provided the staff report and was available for questions.

questions.
Chairman Opipare closed the public hearing at 6:13 p.m.
Chairman Opipare asked for a motion. Vice Chairman Sims motioned to approve as presented,
seconded by Alternate Board Member Ormond.
Chairman Opipare called for a vote. The motion passed unanimously(4-0).
2020-071-T Consider and take appropriate action regarding the November 14, 2019 Zoning Board of
Adjustments minutes.
Chairman Opipare asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes. There were none.
Chairman Opipare asked for a motion.
Vice Chairman Sims moved to approve the November 14, 2019 minutes as written, with a second by
Board Member Harper.
Chairman Opipare called for a vote. The motion passed unanimously(4-0).

2020-072-T Receive Town Planner updates on previous cases heard by the Board

Staff updates were given by Town Planner Lisa Payne.

Chairman Opipare asked for a motion to adjourn.
Motion made by Board Member Harper to adjourn, seconded by Vice Chairman Sims.
