CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM
Chairman Opipare called to order the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting for Thursday, March 12,
2020 at 6:19 p.m. and announced a quorum.
Board Members Present:
Chairman Louis Opipare, Jr.
Secretary John Murtaugh
Board Member Doug Harper
Alternate Board Member Peter Blanchard (via electronic conference call)
Board Members Absent:
Vice Chairman Jeff Sims
Board Member Sean Cannon
Staff and Guests Present:
Tommy Uzee Director of Community Development
Lisa Payne Town Planner
Julie Smestad Administrative Assistant
CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS
Citizens are allowed four(4)minutes to address the Board regarding an item over which the
Board has policy or oversight authority as provided by Texas law, the ethics order, or other
policy order.
Chairman Opipare asked if there were any public requests to speak. No public requests were
submitted.
REGULAR SESSION
2020-099-T Case ZBA-20-003(2720 Trophy Club Drive)
a. Conduct a Public Hearing regarding a request for a variance to allow a proposed
structure to exceed the maximum lot coverage at 2720 Trophy Club Drive in Trophy
Club.
b. Consider and take appropriate action regarding a request for a variance to allow a
proposed structure to exceed the maximum lot coverage at 2720 Trophy Club Drive in
Trophy Club.

Chairman Opipare opened the public hearing at 6:20 p.m.
Town Planner Payne provided the staff report and was available for questions.
Applicant Jonathan Holcomb presented information about the project and was available for
questions.
Chairman Opipare closed the public hearing at 6:23 p.m.
Chairman Opipare asked for a motion. Secretary Murtaugh motioned to approve as presented,
seconded by Board Member Harper.
Chairman Opipare called for a vote. The motion passed unanimously(4-0).
2020-100-T Consider and take appropriate action regarding the February 13, 2020 Zoning Board of
Adjustments minutes.
Chairman Opipare asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes. There were none.
Chairman Opipare asked for a motion.
Board Member Harper moved to approve the February 13, 2020 minutes as written, with a second by
Secretary Murtaugh.
Chairman Opipare called for a vote. The motion passed unanimously(4-0).
2020-101-T Receive Town Planner updates on previous cases heard by the Board
and active development in Town.
Staff updates were given by Town Planner Lisa Payne.
ADJOURN
Chairman Opipare asked for a motion to adjourn.
Motion made by Board Member Harper to adjourn, seconded by Secretary Murtaugh.
Motion passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 6:31 p. .
