CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM
PUBLIC COMMENTS
This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter. The Board is not
permitted to discuss or take action on any presentations made to the
Board. Presentations are limited to matters over which the Board has
authority. Speakers have up to four (4) minutes or the time limit determined by the
presiding officer. Each speaker must complete the Speaker’s Form that includes the
topic(s) to be presented. You may also email bhall@trophyclub.org
REGULAR SESSION
1.Administration of Statement and Oath of Office to Newly Appointed Board Members (L.
Vacek).
2.Take Appropriate Action Regarding the August 25, 2021 Minutes (B. Hall).
3.Make Necessary Changes,if any, to Adoption Questionnaire, Adoption Contract, and/or
Adoption Fee (C. Hall).
4.Receive Update from Officer Hall on Shelter Impound Numbers and Pet Registrations for
Year 2021 (B. Hall).

MINUTES FROM REGULAR SESSION ANIMAL SHELTER BOARD FOR THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB LOCATION: 1 TROPHY WOOD DRIVE, TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS Wednesday August 25, 2021 at 6:30 P.M. The Animal Shelter Board for the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, met in a Regular Session
on August 25, 2021. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open
to the public. STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF DENTON AND TARRANT BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Susan Edstrom: Chair/ Municipal Officer

§ CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM Susan Edstrom called the meeting to order and announced a quorum at 6:30 pm.CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS Citizens are allowed four (4) minutes to address the Board regarding an item over which
the Board has policy or oversight authority as provided by Texas law, the ethics order; or
other policy order. Each speaker must complete the Speaker's Form that includes the
topic to be presented.Regular Session 1.Take appropriate action regarding the February 3, 2021 Minutes.Susan asked for motion to approve the minutes. Chuck motioned to approve. Rachel seconded the motion. Motion passed.2.Review and accept State Inspection performed by Dr. Rachel Speed. Brian motioned to accept and approve. Amanda seconded the motion. Motion passed.
3. Receive an update from Officer Hall regarding Shelter Impounds and Pet Registrations from Year to date 2021. Officer Hall gave his report to the Board.ADJOURN Susan Edstrom entertained a motion to adjourn at 6:48pm. Chuck made the motion to adjourn. Pam made a second to the motion. Motion passed. Chuck Hall offered opinion on issues of redundancies on the form, as well as possible fee changes. Discussion was made. 5. Discuss Pet Fest 2021 scheduled for October 2, 2021. Brian opened conversation and spoke about volunteers needed and supplies that have been ordered for the event.

TERMS OF ADOPTION
1.You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to adopt an animal.
2.Any animal adopted from Trophy Club Animal Control must be vaccinated against rabies within thirty
(30) days of the date of this Agreement. If the animal is less than four (4) months of age, then the
rabies vaccination shall occur within fourteen (14) business days of the animal's attainment of four (4) months of age.3.Any animal adopted from Trophy Club Animal Control must be spayed or neutered within thirty (30) days
of the date of this Agreement. If the animal is less than four (4) months of age, then the spaying
or neutering shall occur within fourteen (14) business days of the animal's attainment of four (4) months of age.
4.Proof of rabies vaccination and spaying or neutering must be provided to Trophy Club Animal Control
within the time frame specified above.
5.Any animal adopted from Trophy Club Animal Control must receive proper food and water, clean, dry
shelter, and loving humane treatment, companionship and regularly scheduled veterinary care and vaccinations.
Dogs must wear a current rabies vaccination tag at all times.
6.It shall be unlawful for any Owner to allow a dog or any other animal possessed, kept or harbored by said
Owner, other than a cat, to run at large.
7.Trophy Club Animal Control has little or no knowledge of the animal you are adopting, including its medical
condition/background and disposition. Trophy Club Animal Control makes no warranties with regard to the
health of the animal and disclaims any liability for the animal's medical condition, sickness or disease. If at any
time you are unable to care for the animal according to the conditions stated above, you will make
arrangements to place the animal with a humane organization or rescue group or will seek a new family for the
animal through other legal means. Trophy Club Animal Control will accept the return of an adopted animal only
if a surrender fee of $50.00 is paid to the Town.
8.Trophy Club Animal Control has the right to deny any adoption, or revoke any adoption, if this adoption
agreement is broken. Failure to comply with the terms of this adoption agreement may result in the issuance of
citations. Providing false information on this document may be grounds for your arrest.
