ANIMAL SHELTER BOARD
FOR THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB LOCATION:1

Wednesday September 21, 2022 at 6:30 P.M.
The Animal Shelter Board for the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, met in a Regular
Session on April 20, 2022. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and
was open to the public.

BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT:
Susan Edstrom: Chair/ Municipal Of ficer
Brian Hall: Animal Shelter Operations
Pam Swan: Resident
Dr. Brooke Bemis: Veternarian
NOTE: Chuck Hall and Karen Medzorian were absent
CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM
Susan Edstrom called the meeting to order and announced a quorum at 6:35 pm.
CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS -
Ci&ens are allowed four (4) minutes to address the Board regaz ng an ltem' over which
the Board has policy of orersightauthod ras provided by Texas law, the ethics order, of
othetpolicyorder. Each speaker must complete the Speaker's Form thatincludes the
topic to be presented.
Regular Session
1. Take Appropriate Action Regarding the April 20, 2022
Minutes. Pam Swan made a motion to approve the minutes; Brian
Hall made a second; motion passed unanimously.
2. Receive Update from Officer Hall on Shelter Impound Numbers and Pet Registrations for Year
to date 2022. Officer Hall gave his detailed report.
3. Discuss Impound Holding Period, currently at 72 hours.
Discussion occurred to possible change the ordinance to 5 days, but it would require Council approval
4. Discuss Upcoming Pet Fest event on October 1, 2022.
Officer Hall discussed the event and showed "goodie bag" items for patrons.
5. Receive an update on the Animal Control Budget.
Officer Hall gave his report.
