Wednesday January 18, 2023 at 6:30 P.M.
The Animal Shelter Board for the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, met in a Regular
Session on January 18, 2023. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town
and was open to the public.

Susan Edstrom: Chair/ Municipal Officer
Brian Hall: Animal Shelter Operations
Pam Swan: Resident
Deanna Polner: Resident
Chuck Hall: Resident
Dr. Brook Bemis: Veterinarian
CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM
Susan Edstrom called the meeting to order and announced a quorum at 6:33 pm.
CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS
Citizens are allowed four (4) minutes to address the Board regatding an item over which
the Board has policy of ovetsighta uthmity as provided by Texas law, the ethics oide , or
otbetpolicyotder. Each speaker mustcomplete the Speaker's Form thatlndudes the
topic. to be presented.
There were no speakers.
Regular Session
1. Take Appropriate Action Regarding the September 21, 2022
Minutes. A motion was made by Brian to approve the
minutes; A second was make by Pam; motion passed
unanimously.
2. Discuss and take appropriate action regarding a recommendation to Council to increase the
current stray hold period from 3 days to 5 days.
This item was tabled to the next meeting for further discussion. Chuck made motion to table; Dr.
Bemis made a second; motion passed unanimously.
3. Review and accept state shelter inspection performed by Dr. Brooke Bemis on September 21st,
2022.
Motion was made by Pam to approve and accept; Chuck made a second; motion passed unanimously.
4. Receive an update from Officer Hall regarding impound and pet registration numbers from the
year 2022.
Officer Hall gave his detailed report.
