The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club met in Regular
Session on November 28, 1988. The meeting was held at the
Municipal Building within the boundaries of the Town and was
open to the Public.

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
INVOCATION
The Invocation was given by Reverend Gary Mueller of the
First Methodist Church of Roanoke/Westlake/Trophy Club.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Council Member Martignago led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS
PRESENTATIONS BY COUNCIL

PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE TO MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE TOWN
COUNCIL CONCERNING A LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT.
Chairman Joe Kurtz stated that the Committee recommended that
Land Design Company be awarded the landscape maintenance
contract. Chairman Kurtz reviewed the bid's with the Council.
Council Member Doran made a motion to accept the
recommendation from the Public Works Committee and award the
bid to Land Design Company predicated on the approval and bid
acceptance. If the Council is not successful in contracting
with Land Design, the award should be made to the next
lowest bidder, Jasper Hays. Council Member Martignago
seconded, motion carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION: TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE WITH THE
SUCCESSFUL BIDDER.
Council Member Doran made a motion to approve the amended
Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract for
landscape maintenance services. Council Member Martignago
seconded, motion carried unanimously.

approve the Resolution
as written, Council Member
Hallgren seconded,
motion carried
unanimously.

CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCES: FIRST READING
A) AN ORDINANCE OF THE OWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS DECLARING
CERTAIN ACTS TO BE A NUISANCE, DEFINING SAME AND
PROHIBITING SUCH ACTS.
This Ordinance will be on the December 12th meeting for
second reading.
CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCES: SECOND READING
(1) TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE NO. 0 87-
14, SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS, AS RECOMMENDED BY THE
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION.
Council Member Martignago made a motion to table the
Ordinance for further review by the Commission, Mayor Pro Tem
Vance seconded, motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURN
Mayor Pro Tem Vance made a motion to adjourn, Council Member
Martignago seconded, motion carried unanimously.
