The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club met in Special
Session on October 3, 1989 at the Municipal Utility Building.
The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and
was open to the Public.

CALL TO ORDER
Administrator
Town Administrator Donna Welsh called the meeting to order at
7:00 p.m.
Mrs. Welsh asked for nominations from the Council for a
moderator. Council Member Sylvia nominated Council Member
Vance to chair the meeting, Council Member Hallgren seconded,
motion carried unanimously.
INVOCATION
Council Member Sylvia gave the Invocation.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Council Member Englebeck led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
RESOLUTION: TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER TAKING ANY NECESSARY
ACTION CONCERNING A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR
CONSTRUCTION TO THE BIDDER RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS
COMMITTEE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
WITH THE BIDDER.
Mr. Joe Kurtz, Chairman of the Public Works Committee
reviewed the bid with the Council.

Council Member Engelbeck made a motion to approve the
Resolution accepting the bid from Pavement Specialists, Inc.,
in the amount of $43,098.00, Council Member Sylvia seconded,
motion carried unanimously.
A copy of the contract will be filed with the minutes of this
meeting.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
The Town Council adjourned into Executive Session to discuss
committee appointments.
OPEN SESSION:
The following action was taken in open session:
Council Member Sylvia made a motion to appoint Mr. Gene Hill
to the Planning and Zoning Commission, Council Member
Hallgren seconded, motion carried unanimously.
Council Member Hallgren made a motion to appoint Ms. Julia
Luellen as Chairman of the Board of Adjustments Committee,
Council Member Engelbeck seconded, motion carried
unanimously.
Council Member Engelbeck made a motion to appoint Woody
Miller, an alternate on the Board of Adjustments Committee,
to the regular Board of Adjustments Committee, Council Member
Sylvia seconded, motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURN
Council Member Engelbeck made a motion to adjourn, Council
Member Hallgren seconded, motion carried unanimously.
