The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club met in regular
session on Tuesday, April 16, 1991. The meeting was held
within the Town boundaries and was open to the Public.

CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Carter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and
welcomed Council, staff and guests.
INVOCATION
Council Member Vance gave the Invocation.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Pro Tem George Doran led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING VARIANCES TO
ORDINANCES 90-12 AND 90-16 CONCERNING SATELLITE DISHES AND
ANTENNAS.
A) Mr. Frank Putt, 2 Palmetto Court
Mrs. Marie Putt was in attendance for Mr. Putt who was
sick. She reported that she had received several bids and
recommendations for placement of a satellite dish. The
conclusion was the second story balcony. Mrs. Putt also
expressed her reluctance of putting a large pole in her
yard. She felt the pole would have adverse affects on the
aesthetics of area. Mrs. Putt informed the Council that an
antenna would not be put on her roof or chimney. She has
one in her attic.

Council Member Vance made a motion to approve the variance
for a satellite dish near the proposed location based on the
Putt's best efforts to screen the dish. Mayor Pro Tem Doran
seconded, motion carried unanimously.
TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER A CONTRACT WITH SOUTER PAVING FOR
CURB REPAIR AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE.
Public Works Committee Chairman, Walt Wood, presented the
reference checks on Souter Paving and asked the Council to
approved the Curb Repair Contract.
Mayor Pro Tem Doran made a motion to approve the contract for
Curb Repair with Souter Paving providing an effective date to
began from date of notice to proceed in the amount of
$10,801.62; any additional dollars to cover the Curb Repair
should be based on a linear foot cost of $14.94 not to exceed
$5000.00 with approval process being Chairman of Public Works
Committee and Public Works Administrator. Council Member
Sylvia seconded, motion carried unanimously.
TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT
WITH SOUTER PAVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
CONTRACT.
Mayor Pro Tem Doran made a motion to approve the resolution
approving a contract with Souter Paving and authorizing the
Mayor to execute the contract. Council member Sylvia
seconded, motion carried unanimously.
TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER A RESOLUTION OPPOSING HOUSE BILL
1930 AND SENATE BILL 1450.
Council Member Sylvia made a motion to approve the resolution
opposing House Bill 1930 and Senate Bill 1450. Mayor Pro Tem
Doran seconded, motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURN
Council Member Vance made a motion to adjourn, Council member
Hill seconded, motion carried unanimously.
