The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the Public. Jim Carter Marshall Engelbeck Doug Glaspell Gene Hill Patti Stoltz Council members absent: Cotton Moore Mayor Council Member Council Member Mayor Pro Tem Council Member Council Member Town staff members and guest present: Worth Blake Chairman of Bond Committee Donna Welsh Town Manager Pauline Shaw Director of Public Works CALL TO ORDER Mayor Carter called the workshop meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. noting a quorum was present. He then welcomed Council Members, guest and staff. INVOCATION An Invocation was given by Bond Committee Chair, Worth Blake. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE AMERICAN AND TEXAS FLAGS The pledge of allegiance to the American and Texas Flags was led by Mayor Pro Tem Hill. CONSENT AGENDA The next order of business was for the Town Council to consider the consent agenda items which were deemed to need little deliberation. As no one wished to remove any items, Mayor Pro Tem Hill made a motion to approve the consent agenda; Council Member Stoltz seconded. Motion carried unanimously. Resoiution 93-03 urging the Governor and Legisiature of the State of Texas to adopt and enact iegisiation providing capital punishment for persons who abuse and murder children, providing an effective date, and take appropriate action. WORKSHOP: TOWN COUNCIL 'PC) DISCUSS 11014D !SSUE The Town Council met to discuss a potential bond issue for !993 and possibie items to be included. AD SJ Mayor Pro Tem Hill made a motion to adjourn the workshop meeting at 9:15 p.m., and to meet again on February 16, 1993. Council Member Stoltz seconded, motion carried unanimously.
