The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas met in
regular session on Monday, September 27, 1993. The meeting
was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to
the Public.

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carter called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m. noting
a quorum was present. He then welcomed Council Members and
staff.
INVOCATION
An Invocation was given by Council Member Moore.
TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER ACCEPTING A BID FROM WESTHILL
TERRACE, INC. FOR PHASE II 1993 STREET REPAIRS IN THE AMOUNT
OF $22,166; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE CONTRACT;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Mayor Carter asked Ms. Shaw to update the Council on the bids
received for street repairs. Ms. Shaw stated that Westhill
Terrace, Inc. was the low bidder out of five bids received.
Westhill Terrace, Inc. had completed street repairs in the
Town and the Town was very satisfied with their work.
There being no further discussion, Mayor Pro Tem Hill made a
motion to award the Phase II 1993 Street Repairs contract to
Westhill Terrace, Inc. in the amount of $22,166.46. Council
Member Glaspell seconded; motion passed unanimously.

TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER ASSIGNING REFUSE GARBAGE SERVICE TO
LAIDLAW WASTE SYSTEMS, INC. AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION.
Mayor Carter noted that Laidlaw Waste Systems, Inc. had
purchased Lakeside Sanitation, Inc. and City Garbage who were
our trash haulers. Laidlaw Waste Systems, Inc. has accepted
the current contract for services with no increases during
the next 11 months.
Mayor Pro Tem Hill made a motion to assign the refuse garbage
service contract to Laidlaw Waste Systems, Inc. Council
Member Moore seconded; motion passed unanimously.
ADJOURN
Mayor Pro Tem Hill made a motion to adjourn the meeting at
7:40 a.m., and to meet again on October 19, 1993. Council
Member Glaspell seconded, motion carried unanimously.
