TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB
May 6, 1997
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF DENTON
DISCUSSION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION NECESSARY FOR AND PERTAINING
TO ANY AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB AND THE
TOWN OF WESTLAKE OR ANY OTHER ADJACENT TOWN:
Scott Bradley, Mayor of Westlake, explained the situation to the extent he was legally available
to.
Council Member Glaspell stated if the need arose he felt confident that Trophy Club would
welcome the citizens of Westlake into our community.
Council Member Decker asked what is Westlake, the one we know?
Mayor Bradley answered he did not know. This will be in the courts and they will have to
resolve it.
Council Member Decker wanted to know about the agreements between the two towns and is
Hwy. 114 still in Westlake.
Mayor Carter remarked that Hwy. 114 was split between the Fort Worth Extra -Territorial
Jurisdiction and Westlake.
Connie White, President, MUD 1, expressed her concern over the possibility of the loss of some
of the tax base and would like to see the Trophy Club Municipal Utility District protected.
Mayor Carter remarked that the MUD's would stay intact in Westlake.

Council Member Decker moved to adjourn at 10:00 p.m. Council Member Glaspell seconded;
motion passed unanimously.
