The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas met in regular session on Tuesday, November 5,
1999. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the public.

Mayor Engelbeck called the meeting to order at 7:05 a.m., noting that a quorum was present.
INVOCATION:
Mayor Pro Tem Brewster gave the invocation.

Mayor Engelbeck led the pledges.

TOWN COUNCIL TO APPROVE AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB,
TEXAS, CANVASSING THE RETURNS, INCLUDING THE RETURN OF EARLY VOTING
BALLOTS CAST IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, AND DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 1999, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
ELECTING ONE COUNCIL MEMBER TO SERVE A ONE (1) YEAR TERM IN ORDER TO
COMPLETE THE TERM OFFICE CREATED BY A VACANCY ON THE COUNCIL;
AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF ELECTION; AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE
OF CANVASS OF GENERAL ELECTION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE:
Mayor Engelbeck canvassed the election; Diane Cockrell gave the results of the election. Mayor Pro Tem
Brewster moved to approve the ordinance as read. Council Member Tweedie seconded; motion passed
unanimously. Bill Matthai was sworn in as Council Member by Diane Cockrell, Town Secretary,
ADJOURN:
Mayor Pro Tem Brewster moved to adjourn at 7:14 a.m. Council Member Edstrom seconded; motion
passed unanimously.
