The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas met in workshop session on Tuesday, April 24,
2000. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the public.

WORKSHOP SESSION
CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM.
Mayor Engelbeck called the workshop to order at 639 p.m., noting a quorum was present.
TOWN COUNCIL TO DISCUSS BOND ELECTION / STEERING COMMITTEE.
Structure of the bond:
Town Council received reports from David Neal, Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, Pete Tart,
of McCall, Parkhurst & Horton L.L.P. and Dan Almon of Southwest Securities. The Council and
professional staff discussed the structure of the bond. The Council asked Mr. Tart to supply two
Ordinances, one with three propositions:
1. For the purpose of constructing and improving the city's streets
2. For the purpose of park acquisition, construction and improvements, including baseball fields and park
recreation/community center together with other park improvements
3. For the purpose of constructing and equipping a municipal maintenance building
and an additional Ordinance with four propositions

1. For the purpose of constructing and improving the city's streets
2. For the purpose of constructing and improving the City's streets, to -wit: a loop road
3. For the purpose of park acquisition, construction and improvements, including baseball fields and park
recreation/community center together with other park improvements
4. For the purpose of constructing and equipping a municipal maintenance building
Composition of Steering Committee:
David Neal has volunteered to chair this Steering Committee. Diane Cockrell will collect names and give to
David Neal by the end of the week. Council members if so inclined can participate.
ADJOURN WORKSHOP SESSION:
Council Member Edstrom made a motion to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. council Member Matthai seconded;
motion passed unanimously.
