The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas met in Special Session on Tuesday, May 8, 2001. The
meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the public.

CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM:
Mayor Engelbeck called the Regular Meeting to order at 8:00 a.m., noting a quorum was present.
INVOCATION: Council Member Tweedie gave the invocation.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE AMERICAN AND TEXAS FLAG: Council Member Huizenga led the
pledges.
TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER AND ADOPT AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB,
TEXAS, CANVASSING THE RETURNS, INCLUDING THE RETURNS OF EARLY VOTING BALLOTS
CAST IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, AND DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL
ELECTION HELD ON MAY 5, 2001, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING A MAYOR AND TWO (2)
COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR TWO (2) YEAR TERMS EACH: AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF CANVASS
OF GENERAL ELECTION; PROVIDING FOR ENGROSSMENT AND ENROLLMENT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Mayor Pro Tem Edstrom made a motion to adopt the Ordinance as written. Council Member Tweedie seconded;
motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURN
Mayor Pro Tem Fdstrom made a motion to adjourn at 8:10 a.m. Council Member Tweedie seconded; motion
carried unanimously.
