The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, met in Workshop Session on July 25, 2002
within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the public.

CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM:
Mayor Smith called the Regular Session to order at 6:31 p.m., noting a quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF POOL PROJECT:
Paul Rosenberger gave a history of the pool project and asked for direction from the Council tonight
regarding the project. The Mayor stated that a decision should be made at the August 19`h Council
meeting. Billy Hughes gave additional information on the overview.
Mayor Smith added that the objectives are: to provide a pool that meets the recreational needs of a
majority of residents, to spend only the set amount of money and the pool should be ready to go by
Memorial Day 2003.

Donna Welsh shared that the next step to be taken is to take "Requests for Proposals"; no decision has
been made regarding engineering and design of the pool.
Discussion ensued.
The staff will move forward to develop the criteria for Request For Proposals which will include the
conceptual plan and Council suggestions.
