.TUNE 13-19,2004 AS MANAGEMENT WEEK IN TEXAS
A PROCLAMATION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB,
TEXAS, ESTABLISHING THE WEEK OF JUNE 13-19,2004 AS MANAGEMENT WEEK IN
TEXAS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NATIONAL MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, Management Week in Texas is June 13-19, 2004; and
WHEREAS, management practices are vital to the success of business; and
WHEREAS, business is vital to the overall well-being of our community, state and nation;
and
WHEREAS, our nation's system of free enterprise is dependent upon sound and efficient
management; and
WHEREAS, the National Management Association is committed to upholding and promoting
sound and effective management; and
WHEREAS, National Management Association members are dedicated to improving
management and business productivity in our state and nation; and
WHEREAS, National Management Association chapters throughout America will join in
celebration of National Management Week.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, MAYOR SCOTT SMITH, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM:
Section 1. The week of June 13-19, 2004 as Management Week in Texas in the Town of
Trophy Club to coincide with the National Management Association, North Texas Council Chapter,
Bell Helicopter Leadership Club, and
Section 2. That this proclamation shall take effect from and after its date of passage, in
accordance with law; and it is so proclaimed.
