PROCLAMATION 2004-08
A PROCLAMATION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS ESTABLISHING MAY 29, 2004 AS WORLD WAR II VETERANS
MEMORIAL AND REMEMBRANCE DAY TO REMEMBER AND HONOR
THOSE VETERANS WHO SERVED SO COURAGEOUSLY AND VALIANTLY.
WHEREAS, the evil leaders of Germany, Italy, and Japan attempted World
domination by waging war against the countries of the free world, and
WHEREAS, Americans, just as did their forefathers in removing the yoke of
Ding George in 1776, took up arms to thwart the ambitions of those evil leaders, and
NOW, THEREFORE, we, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas
hereby proclaim Saturday, May 29, 2004 as WORLD WAR II VETERANS
MEMORIAL AND REMEMBRANCE DAY to remember and honor those veterans
who served so courageously and valiantly. This Proclamation shall take effect from and
after its date of passage, in accordance with law; and it is so proclaimed.
