RESOLUTION NO. R 85-7
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS
ACKNOWLEDGING AND APPROVING THE PARTICIPATION AND
ACQUIESCENCE BY THE DENTON COUNTY MUNICIPAL
UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 2 AND THE DENTON COUNTY
MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 3 IN THE PLANS, RULES
AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING FIRE SAFETY HERETOFORE
ADOPTED BY THE TROPHY CLUB MUNICIPAL
UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 has
heretofore adopted plans, rules and regulations regarding fire safety, including
the operation of a volunteer fire department, said plans, rules and regulations to
be implemented within the corporate limits of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas
(the "Town"); and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned plans, rules and regulations governing fire
safety have heretofore been approved by the Texas Department of Water
Resources; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires that all municipal utility districts
operating within the corporate limits of the Town, including the Denton County
Municipal Utility District No. 2, the Denton County Municipal Utility District
No. 3 and the Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1, acquiesce in,
approve, participate in and operate under and pursuant to the aforementioned
plans, rules and regulations governing fire safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the above and foregoing preamble is incorporated
herein as if copied herein in its entirety.
Section 2. That the plans, rules and regulations of the Trophy Club
Municipal Utility District No. 1 regarding fire safety, including the operation of
a volunteer fire department, heretofore approved by the Texas Department of
Water Resources, are hereby acknowledged by the Town, and that all municipal
utility districts operating within the corporate limits of the Town, including the
Denton County Municipal Utility District No. 2 and the Denton County Municipal
Utility District No. 3 are hereby acknowledged to have adopted and to be
operating, participating and acquiescing in the aforementioned plans, rules and
regulations governing fire safety of the Trophy Club Municipal Utility District
No. 1.
Section 3. That this Resolution is in the best interests of the health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas.
