TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MUNICIPAL BUD-
GET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JANUARY 1, 1986, THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 1986; PROVIDING A TIME AND PLACE FOR
SAID PUBLIC HEARING, TO WIT: ON THE _gt=h— DAY OF
DaCEMBFR_, 1985; PROVIDING FOR NOTICE; AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas
finds that the Mayor of the Town has filed on the 1st day of
November , 1985, with the Town Secretary, —& General Budget for
the Town for the fiscal year January 1, 1986 through September 30, 1986.
Section 2. That in order to provide for a public hearing on such budget,
the Town Council of the Town hereby declares that said hearing shall take place
on the 9th day of December , 1986 at 7.00 o'clock p.m. at the
Municipal Utility District Building, 100 Water Plant Road, Trophy Club, Texas,
which date is more than fifteen (15) days after the date said budget was filed
as above-mentioned, and prior to the time the Town will make its tax levy, if
any.
Section 3. That public notice shall be given by publication of the hour,
date and place of such hearing in one issue of the official newspaper of the Town
which publication shall be made not more than thirty (30) days nor less than ten
(10) days before the date of said hearing. The Town Council finds that such
public notice by publication has already been given and hereby confirms and
ratifies the same.
Section 4. The necessity for holding a public hearing on the proposed
budget for the next fiscal year as required by the laws of the State of Texas,
requires that this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage, as the law in such cases provides.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Trophy club, Texas on this the 25th day of November , 1985.
