RESOLUTION NO. 88-06
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOKU OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF THE
CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE GRANTED 'TO PLANNED
CABLE SYSTEMS CORPORATION BY ORDINANCE NO. 87-11
TO CABLEVISION MANAGEMENT, INC., AS GENERAL
PARTNER OF COUNTY CABLE LIMITED PARTNERSHIP;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, by ordinance No. 87-11, the Town of Trophy Club,
Texas (the "Town") granted a cable television franchise to
Planned Cable Systems Corporation; and
WHEREAS, Planned Cable Systems Corporation desires to
transfer all of its rights and obligations under that franchise
to Cablevision Management, Inc., as General Partner of County
Cable Limited Partnership, d/b/a Planned Cable Systems; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 6 of Ordinance No.
87-11, Cablevision Management. Inc. and County Cable Limited
Partnership have filed with the Town Secretary a written
unconditional acceptance, duly executed and sworn to, of the
terms and conditions of the franchise and all obligations,
duties and responsibilities thereunder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the above and forgoing preamble is
found to be true and correct and is incorporated into the body
of this resolution as if copied herein in its entirety.
Section 2. That the Town Council does hereby approve
and consent to the transfer of the cable television franchise
granted to Planned Cable Systems Corporation by ordinance No.
87-11 to Cablevision Management, Inc., as General Partner of
County Cable Limited Partnership.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from
and after its date of passage.
