RESOLUTION NO. 89-16
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS APPROVING A SETTLEMENT
AGREEMENT WITH INDIANA LUMBERMENS MUTUAL
INSURANCE COMPANY RELATING TO HARMONY PARK;
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE SETTLEMENT
AGREEMENT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Town Council does hereby approve a
Settlement Agreement with Indiana Lumbermens Mutual Insurance
Company relating to and concerning Harmony Park and the default
of the contractor, M.W. Halpern & Company, Inc., on the
construction of the Park. A true and correct copy of the
Settlement Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Mayor of the Town is hereby authorized
and empowered to execute the Settlement Agreement.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and
after its date of passage.
