INTERLOCALA RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS APPROVING AN
BOUNDARIES;COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH DENTON COUNTY FOR
ROAD REPAIRS ON A PORTION OF MARSHALL CREEK
ROAD LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN
AUTHORIZING AND EMPOWERING THE MAYOR TO EXECU
THE AGREEMENT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. I
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club owns certain real
property located within the Town; and
WHEREAS, these public properties require maintenance and
repair; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club is desirous of entering
into an interlocal cooperation agreement with Denton County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS,
Section 1. That the above and foregoing preamble is
incorporated herein and made a part of this Resolution as if
copied herein in its entirety.
Section 2. That the Town of Trophy Club, Texas approves
and agrees to enter into an interlocal cooperation agreement,
a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein, with Denton County, Texas, for the
purpose of repairing a portion of Marshall Creek Road located
within the Town and as described in the Agreement.
Section 3. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
empowered to execute a contract with Denton County for road
repair as set forth herein.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect from
and after its date of passage.
