RESOLUTION NO. 101591
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS
ADOPTING AND APPROVING AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE TOWN AND
THE CITY OF KELLER, TEXAS; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town") is
authorized and empowered pursuant to chapter 791 of the Texas Local
Government Code to contract with another local government to
perform governmental functions and services such as public health
and welfare; and
WHEREAS, the provision of emergency ambulance services is for
the protection of the public health and welfare; and
WHEREAS, the City of Keller has requested the Town to provide
the City with such emergency services; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to enter into an agreement
with the City of Keller to provide such emergency ambulance
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the above and foregoing preamble is true and
correct and is incorporated herein as if copied herein in its
entirety.
Section 2. That the Emergency Ambulance Services Agreement by
and between the Town and the City of Keller, Texas, a true and
correct copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein, is hereby adopted and approved.
Section 3. That the Mayor of the Town shall, and is hereby
authorized and empowered to, execute the said Agreement.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect from and
after its date of passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy
Club, Texas this the 15th day of October , 1991.
